Calculus Problem: Approximate the area of this leaf.

How will I use this?

�In Calculus class, after teaching a unit on antiderivatives. This problem will prompt students to model the shape of the leaf with a quadratic function and then use what they’ve learned about antiderivatives to approximate the area of the top half of the leaf and then double it up.
