You will receive an email from course_option@sst.edu.sg in your SST email account.

• Subject title: Course Option Exercise for 2024 (S3)
• You will find the instructions and the link to the Course Option Form (GoogleForm) in the email.
• If you do not receive any email by today, you must send an email to inform us at course_option@sst.edu.sg.

Important Dates: Exercising your option

🗓 20-21 Oct (FRI - SAT)

You will receive another email from course_option@sst.edu.sg in your SST email account.

• Subject title: (Summary) S2 Overall Marksheet
• It will provide you with your overall result for each examinable subject
• Percentage

[Purpose] To provide a reference to help you exercise course option before the Report is issued on the last day of school.

• You may email to course_option@sst.edu.sg if you do not receive it by end of 21 October 2023 (SAT) noon.

Important Dates: Exercising your option

🗓 19 Oct (Thur) to 26 Oct (Thur noon)

You must exercise your course option during this period

• You must submit your form using your SST email account.
• A copy of your submission will be sent to you automatically.

• Should you need to make any amendment to your choices, you must re-fill and re-submit the form.
• Only the most recent submission will be taken into consideration.
• Any submission after the deadline shall not be considered.

You must exercise your course option during this period

You will receive email from course_option@sst.edu.sg in your SST email account in the afternoon, informing you the course option results.

• If you do not receive the email by 1700h, you must send an email to inform us at course_option@sst.edu.sg.

Important Dates: Course Option Results

1. Mother Tongue Language

In the Course Option Results email, the Mother Tongue Language will be stated in the general form.

i.e. The specific subject (e.g. “Chinese Language”, “Higher Malay Language”) will not be reflected.

• You will continue with the MTL that you study in Sec 2.
• If you have applied for a transfer of MTL, you will be informed by MTL Department of the outcome.

Special Note: Course Option Results

2. Third Language

If you are currently taking a 3rd language, it will not be reflected in the Course Option Results email.

You may continue with the 3rd language as the 9th subject.

Special Note: Course Option Results

✍️ Appeal 15-16 Nov

Appeals after the release of course option results must be submitted via the link in the Course Option Results email.

• Appeal is to be submitted through your parent/ guardian.
• Submissions after 16 Nov will NOT be entertained.

Appeal Outcome 20 Nov (MON)

Outcome will be emailed to your parent/ guardian.

• Your parent/ guardian may email to course_option@sst.edu.sg if they do not receive it by 20 Nov, 1700h

Students who are offered IDP: Parents will be notified (by the IDP Dept) that they are offered IDP. These students must still exercise your course option here.
