Optum chose to transition away from Google Calendar due to licensing costs. Our team rebuilt equivalent calendar functionality adding custom solutions to free libraries.
We built a custom calendar solution with React FullCalendar, implementing advanced scheduling and collaboration features from scratch.
The project was completed under a tight timeline, which required prioritizing core functionality. Some edge-case workflows, such as the administrative view, were identified later in the process and required additional iteration.
