PERSONALITY: Known as the chill, but lazy jokester of snowdin, Toriel is a goat monster that seems to laze off with every job given to her. She’s self-negligent and doesn’t usually care for her own well being, but cares for those around her. Even her ex-husband/neighbor, Asgore. Even with her nonchalant, uncaring attitude towards life, she fills that void with the monsters in her life.

PERSONALITY: Asgore is a kind, overconfident old man with a heart of gold and an unbreakable spirit. He’s known to be quite stubborn in his efforts to rejoin the royal guard and go back to his former knightley glory. His efforts are innocent enough, but it’s never enough to actually rejoin. It can also be seen as a midlife crisis ( which it is ).

PERSONALITY: He’s a laidback, soft-hearted skeleton that acts as a father figure for any humans that have fallen into the ruins. With Papyrus’ actions, he can be quite protective over humans to the point where he tries to keep them within the ruins, but it usually ends up in failure.

BACKSTORY
Born(? idk how skeletons work) within the royal family, Papyrus was supposed to be the second in line with his brother being the next king, but Sans had given that chance to Papyrus. One thing he always wished for when he was younger was to become king and slowly rekindle the spirits of the monsters within the underground. With some losing their families in the war with humans, he hated to see them in suffering.
Though while Gaster was still king, a human managed to change their lives forever. The first human to fall in the underground was a small child. The king had welcomed this child with open arms. They were like one of the family. Papyrus enjoyed his time with this human to the point where he requested a special crown for them.
But one day, the human became severely ill. Even with the greatest doctors in the underground, this human was beyond saving. Their dying wish was to be buried within their hometown. Gaster, as the king, felt responsible to accept their wish and absorbed the human’s soul to go outside the barrier. Though once he got to the village he was attacked as they accused him of murdering the child. Returning back to the underground, he collapsed on the ground with the human in hand and both of the skeleton brothers rushed to help him.
Gaster’s dying wish was for Papyrus to somehow find a way to free all the monsters within the underground. He turned to dust shortly after and was promptly mourned by the monsters of the underground.
ASRIEL (MISSING)
AGE: Thought to be around his early 30’s mentally before his “disappearance”. Was around 600 years old physically.
SEXUALITY: Aroace
ROLE SWAPPED: Gaster
PERSONALITY: Asriel was a brilliant mind known to overwork himself while buried in his work. He’s overall understanding and patient, taking great pride in his team and his work. He is known to have some dangerous & questionable experiments which even the king took to question, but let him continue on with his work.
