ACCURACY PROBLEMS with SHAREPOINT

  • Revisions to field names in the SharePoint form has led to translation errors between each revision of the form.
  • When there are revisions to a Course inaccuracies occur or assessment may be done for SLO’s that no longer exist
  • Many input fields are open, which invites errors.
  • Times that the SLO# was placed in the COURSE ID field and not the SLO# field, indicating that as time has gone on, submitters have been trying to make work arounds

ACCESSIBILITY PROBLEMS with SHAREPOINT

  • Several entries indicate that SharePoint was not being used as the source for storing Assessment Information (“FIND MORE INFO HERE”) Which, that’s an ok way to do things, but it takes more steps to access info.
  • The difficulties of signing-in to SharePoint, the strange error messages, unintuitive design, all contributed to an unpleasant user experience.

COMPREHENSION PROBLEMS with SHAREPOINT

  • Because of the previously discussed items, this makes searching for information and tracking completion in our current system very difficult.
  • Much duplicate information.
  • There are 5,045 course SLOs. With so much variation, if you were to set a bunch of assessments down next to each other, it’d be difficult to peice together what exactly is happening.
