Our outstanding reputation

Bridges was established by the Marriott Family in 1989, the same family that owns over 7,000 Marriott properties in 131 countries. Our mission is to transform young lives through the power of a job!

We operate Bridges programs in 12 offices nationwide, and in cities where there is a high presence of Marriott hotels.

Over the years Bridges has helped 21,000 youth get hired in part-time or full-time jobs, with over 5,200 employers (like Levy Restaurants, Shedd Aquarium, Lincoln Park Zoo, Jewel, Accenture—just to name a few)

Employers value our work and tell us that their Bridges employees are some of the best workers. Our youth keep their jobs 80% longer than non-Bridges employees.

Over our 31 years as a program, we have established an outstanding reputation among our participants, teachers, and employers.... and each year we aspire to be even better and serve more youth!
