ABOUT THE GAME
Project Readjusted 3 is a FNAF fan-game, and final entry in the Project Readjusted trilogy. It revolves around you, Andrew Vargas, piecing together and salvaging the remaining information regarding the man of mystery, Matthew _____. You, Andrew, find yourself taking up a deal you know you could not pass upon. Little did you know this deal has a dark catch.
Project Readjusted 3’s gameplay is reminiscent of both FNAF 3 and FNAF 6, with task-based gameplay, a terrific gloomy and ambient atmosphere, a custom soundtrack, and one main intelligent threat lurking in the darkness. Use the tools at your disposal in this semi-controlled environment full of dark and twisted creatures, and preserve those who you desire to learn from.

ABOUT THIS GUIDE
Hi everyone! Welcome to my guide for Project Readjusted 3. This is, without a doubt, one of the BEST FNAF fan-games I’ve ever played. I HIGHLY recommend you to check this out if you haven’t already. This is the final game in the trilogy of games from the Project Readjusted series by Mechlus, and to be honest, it is definitely the best (the others are awesome as well tho). It truly is a game for the senses: visual, tactile, auditory mainly.
This guide will focus on explaining the various mechanics of the game, going into high detail on the threat/animatronic behaviors, explaining how to overcome certain challenges, and how to complete the game, 100%. Completing the game 100% is very difficult, and proves a challenge for those attempting it, so I will be here to clarify things and explain the strategies I used for going about it. There are some cool secrets as well for doing 100%, which have not been covered by YouTubers at all. I have also been given permission by Mechlus to show the secrets in the 100% ending through my walkthrough video, which this guide references.
I also want to thank the dev, Mechlus, for being awesome, and for helping patch the game (there was originally a bug which prevented people from getting 100%) and for helping me understand how to receive each star reward for 100%.

CHAPTER 1
PART I
Mechanics and Essentials
Menu Navigation
MENU: New Game/Continue Night
When you first boot up the game, you will click on the New Game option, which will ask you if you want to start. Clicking begin will start Night 1. The New Game option will be replaced with the Continue option once you make it past Night 1.
Once you beat Night 5 and the main campaign, in order to go back and achieve any other endings (presumably for 100% completion), you MUST delete your current story progress, which will reset the Patient Hub (note, resetting the Patient Hub does not remove any 100% secrets). You can delete your story progress by holding the DEL button for 3 seconds while on the main menu. This will restore the New Game option, and will not allow you to reattempt Night 5 until you make it back there.
MENU: Patient Hub
The Patient Hub is a MAJOR aspect of the game. It ties together the post-night minigames and secrets, and stores valuable information regarding the story of PR3. It also only becomes unlocked after Night 1 is beaten.
MENU: Bonuses
When you complete the main campaign for the first time, the button named “Bonuses” will become clickable. The Bonuses menu (like an extras menu) is an extra location containing lots of cool assets from the developer, full renders of each animatronic, older beta/dev content, and a heartfelt message from the developer, thanking everyone for supporting his game. You can also access the Custom Night menu from the Bonuses tab.
MENU: Custom Night
When you have completed the main campaign, the option for the Custom Night will become unlocked and accessible. You may find it at the bottom of the Bonuses tab in the main menu. Here, you will find a sandbox-type mode which you can choose your own difficulty level to play against the animatronics. There are 10 presets of custom challenges made by the developer, one of which is A Daredevil’s Trial (5/20 mode + very hard settings).
Beating ALL Challenges will award you with 10 CUSTOM NIGHT STARS, and ONE MENU STAR.
CHAPTER 1
PART II
Mechanics and Essentials
Animatronic Behaviors
Busted
Busted is the main antagonist animatronic in Project Readjusted 3, and has many unique mechanics. He has 2 main phases: his camera roaming phase, and his attack phase. He is active on Nights 2, 3, 4, and 5.
Camera Phase: Busted roams the various rooms on the camera system, and tends to hide in the darkness of the feeds. He can move only to adjacent rooms, so if he was originally in the left camera, he ONLY could have moved to the central feed (or to your office). Look closely, as he likes to stand in different places within the feeds.
Attack Phase: If Busted is not present in the cameras at all, he is most certainly watching you from the shadows of your office. He appears in 1 of 4 places in your office: the far left corner, the middle left hall, the middle right hall, and the far right corner. Busted is scared away by the glowstick. Holding it and moving your mouse over to where he is in the office will fend him off. When you scare him away, a bass drop sound will play accompanying his leaving animation, indicating that he has left the office. If you previously checked for him and didn’t see him, he will make a laugh cue, indicating his presence in your office. When Busted is scared away, he then resumes back to his camera roaming phase.
Additionally, Busted has a trick up his sleeve. In his camera phase, he can attempt to kill a patient. If Busted is about to attack a patient, a loud scream audio cue will play, and you will be able to see Busted looking in through one of the patient’s doors on one of the camera ports. If this happens, use the bell on your desk to lure him to you. Only use it ONCE or else he will kill you for overusing it. Ringing the bell will immediately bring him into his attack phase. You may also ring the bell at any time to bring Busted to you strategically, however it is not always recommended, especially when Subject Model #3A is thrown in.
Wraith Buster
Wraith Buster is a minor threat and phantom-like antagonist to the player in Project Readjusted 3. He shares a mechanic with Wraith Fin, and is active on Nights 3, 4, and 5.
Wraith Buster is one of the two phantom-like threats in the game, the other being Wraith Fin. The Subjected Member describes him as being a “purple creature,” and a “hallucination,” noting their color and appearance.
Wraith Buster will appear in front of the player in the office, and is scared away by using the glowstick. The player does not have to use the glowstick for longer than a half-second, nor do they have to locate a specific spot in the office, as opposed to with Busted, who requires you to use the glowstick on him for a full second, and locate him in a specific area of the office. When the player shines the glowstick on Wraith Buster, a distorted and hollow noise cue will play, and he will disappear (albeit he is very difficult to see in your office). It is recommended not to worry about him too much, since you can deal with him at the same time as dealing with Busted.
If the player fails to deter Wraith Buster, he has a chance to scare one of the patients. If he scares a patient, they will scream, luring Busted to kill them instantly, as referenced by the Subjected Member’s line, “this reaction is detrimental, and will only bring death upon them.” Also, as Wraith Buster materializes more and more, a long and quiet ghostly audio cue plays in the background.
Wraith Fin
Wraith Fin is a minor threat and phantom-like antagonist to the player in Project Readjusted 3. He shares a mechanic with Wraith Buster, and is active on Nights 3, 4, and 5.
Wraith Fin is one of the two phantom-like threats in the game, the other being Wraith Fin. The Subjected Member describes him as being a “purple creature,” and a “hallucination,” noting their color and appearance.
Wraith Fin will somewhat rarely materialize on the camera feeds, covering them with a transparent deep purple hue. To scare him away, you just need to stare at that specific camera feed for about 3 seconds, and he should move away from blocking the camera. When he does, the camera will play static, and be clear of Wraith Fin. He cannot spawn in a camera that Busted or Subject Model #3A is on, but he can spawn in a camera that the Subjected Member is on.
If the player fails to deter Wraith Fin, he has a chance to scare one of the patients. If he scares a patient, they will scream, luring Busted to kill them instantly, as referenced by the Subjected Member’s line, “this reaction is detrimental, and will only bring death upon them.” Also, as Wraith Fin materializes more and more on the cameras, a long and quiet ghostly audio cue plays in the background.
Subjected Member
The Subjected Member(s) is the most difficult character to understand and incorporate into gameplay. He is also the most mysterious, hidden by a large white rabbit mask. He seems to be part of the Subjected group, the shady corporation hosting this deadly game of cat and mouse for Andrew Vargas.
He is ONLY active on Nights 3, 4, and 5, IF and only if you have collected the secrets within the Post-Night Minigames. If you do not see him on your playthrough, this is the reason. However, you CAN play him in the custom night regardless, you just have to beat the campaign.
Subjected Member’s main mechanic is to randomly and occasionally check up on you to make sure you are sending boxes out to the patients. To be completely honest, this is the only character’s mechanics that I still have an issue with, simply because it is a bit RNG. I will do my best to explain his mechanics and how to counter it. He will walk to your room, and you will hear footsteps when he is approaching. When he arrives, if you are sending supply boxes out and looking at the tablet, he will praise you for doing a good job, and then will walk away.
If you flip down the tablet while he is in the room, regardless of whether or not the conveyor is on, he will kill you. If the conveyor is not on when he enters, he will instantly kill you. If Busted is in the room when he enters, Busted can still kill you, and will not wait for the Subjected Member to leave (same with Subject Model #3A). If you flip down the tablet before his walking sound is heard (signifying him leaving the room), he will kill you. And lastly, if all 3 patients are killed by Busted, he will kill you.
You have a chance to initially see him on the cameras before he comes to you, and watching him there for a moment will help stall him. So while watching him, if you don’t have enough boxes, quickly stock up, and then switch cameras to allow him to come into your room.
Subject Model #3A
Subject Model #3A is (in my opinion) the coolest and best animatronic/character in the game, only slightly above Busted. From his cool animations, his badass appearance and name, to his lead-up lore-wise, and introduction, he is top-notch. He only appears on Night 5, but proves quite a challenge for sure. Similar to Busted, he has 2 main phases: his camera roaming phase, and his attack phase
Camera Phase: Subject Model #3A will initially not be active until about 40 seconds into Night 5 (not the same on custom nights), and will roam the camera feeds similar to Busted. However, unlike Busted, Subject Model #3A does NOT like to be watched. He will stand in front of a camera and attempt to temporarily disable it, if you are watching him. The speed of how fast he disables the camera depends on his aggression level, which is not that high for Night 5. If he disables your camera, it will be blocked out temporarily for exactly 40 seconds, preventing you from knowing where Busted or the Subjected Member may be. Also, he makes soft metal clanking noises every time you see him on the cameras.
Attack Phase: Subject Model #3A will signify his attack by making his signature metal clanking noises, but much louder. This means that he is on his way to you, and you have to defend yourself. In order to do so, ring the bell on your table to scare him off. If Subject Model #3A is in fact attacking, ringing the bell will NOT lure Busted, unlike it normally would. In this case, if Busted attacks a patient while Subject Model #3A attacks you, then you may ring the bell twice.
After his attack phase is nullified, he will resume his Camera Phase.

PART III
Mechanics and Essentials
General Night Mechanics
YOUR OFFICE
THE PATIENTS
Your office is where you will be spending the bulk of the gameplay.
Patients are referred to as “forms of life” by the Subjected Members. You are instructed to keep them alive at all costs.
YOUR TABLET
THE CAMERAS
The cameras are vital to knowing where a threat may be at any given time. The doors you can see in the camera feeds correspond to the patient’s actual holding rooms (aka patients 1-3, from left to right).
Your tablet houses the camera and conveyor system to help complete your tasks for the patients.
THE CONVEYORS
YOUR INVENTORY
The conveyors are the most vital aspect of PR3’s gameplay, as they are the main catalysts in allowing you to finish your shift. They work in conjunction with the patient statistics, and what items they need.
Your inventory is the amount of supplies you hold at a given time to give to the patients.
THE GLOWSTICK
THE BELL
The bell is your secondary line of defense against your intelligent foes.
The glowstick is the main line of defense against your intelligent foes.
AUDIO CUES
MISCELLANEOUS
A list of other miscellaneous important things to know:
Audio Cues are hugely important in PR3, and while there is no need to wear a headset for panned audio cues, it is still important to listen.

Night 3 is where things get challenging. 3 new difficult threats are introduced.
NIGHT IV: General Strategies
ACTIVE: Busted, Wraith Buster, Wraith Fin, & Subjected Member
Night 4 is similar to Night 3, but it is more challenging. No new characters, but higher aggression levels.
NIGHT V: General Strategies

Minigame Maps
On the next 5 pages, I will be presenting the post-night minigame maps, and how to navigate through them. To find the secrets, see page 35 in the guide for more information. These maps will only indicate the various entrances to the secrets.
For Minigame 1, you must make your way to the back room. If there is a child blocking the way, go to the stage and interact (click [E]) with it. Then go back to the door, and end the minigame.

MINIGAMES: Secrets Guide (applies to 100%)
Here is how to get every single main campaign post-night minigame secret in PR3. Note, See my video for a visual guide on how navigate the invisible mazes:
SECRET | DIFF. | HOW TO FIND |
1 | Easy | In the starting room, walk up to the top right-hand corner, and phase through the wall. You will have to navigate an invisible maze, which is not the most difficult. Once you reach the note, interact and read it to “collect” it. Then finish the minigame |
2 | Easy | Simply go to the rightmost room from the starting room, and go down and phase through the bottom wall when you reach said room (see diagram on pg. 31). Then find your way through, “collect” the note, and finish the minigame. |
3 | Hard | Probably the most complicated, but not that bad. Go to the dining room, and phase through the tables. Walk up toward the main stage, and navigate your way around to the top right-hand corner. Then, go out of bounds upwards and around the stage, and go to the left-hand side. Then re-phase through the walls and begin the invisible maze. Note that this invisible maze requires you to take a path which spans over 2 screens, so be aware not to get stuck. Find your way through, “collect” the note, and finish the minigame. |
4 | Medium | Another somewhat complicated one; go to the ending room but DO NOT approach the character in the middle yet. Go around the edge of the room, and make it to the back left corner. Phase through the wall, and “collect” the note sitting behind the guards. There is no invisible maze in this minigame, but once you “collect” the note, go back and approach the character in the middle of the room. |
5 | Medium | Slightly complicated, but not bad once you understand it. This minigame starts the same as Minigame 1, but this time you can phase through either side of the bottom wall of the Dining Room. Then go to the rightmost room, and instead of going downwards in the room toward a fake path, phase through the closest wall to the entrance of the room. Find your way through, “collect” the note, and finish the minigame. |

17 Stars (100% Guide)
Main Guide
100% GUIDE: General Information
When you have completed the main campaign, you have the option to go and 100% complete Project Readjusted 3. To 100% complete the game, you must do the following →
Achieve ALL 17 Rewarded Stars
Other info:
100% GUIDE: Menu Star Guide
Here is how to achieve ALL of the 7 menu stars in PR3, in order from left to right on the main menu:
STAR | DIFF. | HOW TO GET |
1 | V. Hard | Achieve Stars 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7, and then go to the patient hub and talk to ??? to unlock it. ??? will only show up IF you have all other stars prior. Once you leave the patient hub after talking to ???, the star will be present on the main menu. |
2 | Easy | Simply beat the main five night campaign, and get any of the 3 endings (which depend on how many patients are alive and how many secrets you find). You will most likely get this star first if going for 100%. |
3 | Hard | Get an S rank on each of the main campaign nights, for an overall Average S rank. I recommend doing this on your first playthrough, as it can get tedious later on when going for other endings on other playthroughs. |
4 | Hard | Beat ALL 10 Custom Night challenges. Pretty difficult, you need mastery of the mechanics to beat, since you need to beat A Daredevil’s trial for this star. |
5 | Medium | Obtain all five post-night minigame secrets. One of the easiest of the stars, since you just have to know where the secrets are, but you must beat the campaign to get all 5. Each secret will show up in the patient hub after finding it, and you will get the best ending if you find all 5 on one playthrough. See pg. 35 for information on how to find them all. |
6 | Medium | Beat the main five night campaign without letting a patient die. Simply means to beat Night 5 with all of the patients alive, no matter how many secrets you’ve found. IF a patient dies during your playthrough, DO NOT continue to the next night if you want to get this star, and simply restart the night. |
7 | Hard | Get every single ending in the game. There are 3 endings, the bad ending, the good ending, and the best ending. The ideal way to do each ending is to do the best ending on the initial playthrough. Then, delete your story progress (by holding the [DEL] button), and rebeat the campaign for the good ending on the second playthrough. Then, without deleting your progress, rebeat Night 5, but don’t end the night until Busted kills at least one of the patients. Doing this ensures you will get the bad ending when you win. You can always delete your story progress after this, and start again for fun at any time. |
