PEOPLE WHO MIGRATE

What is the difference between an immigrant and a refugee?

IMMIGRANT

a person who comes to live permanently in another country.

EMIGRANT

A person who leaves their own country i to live in another country.
[E=EXIT]

REFUGEE

A person who leaves their own country in order to settle permanently live in another because their country is not safe.
