  • If a student feels ill or has a temperature of +100.4 degrees then they do not go to school
  • If the response is “No” to all questions on the questionnaire then students may go to school
  • When at school, students will wear masks at all times (including during PE) unless they are actively eating (e.g., during brunch/lunch)

  • Students should not be dropped off along Fremont Blvd.
  • For classrooms with only one door, students will not enter the classroom until the prior students have exited. Students are encouraged to use hand sanitizer as they enter/exit classrooms.
  • Lunch will continue to be closed-campus. An unmonitored table table in front of the office will be provided for lunch drop-offs by parents.
  • When the school day ends, students are to leave school immediately (except Marching/jazz band, athletics etc.), so that cleaning may begin.

FLEX - Choosing a Good Room (for you)

  • Choose one of your current teachers’ rooms that you think you will need the most support in (e.g., Math, Science, English, History, etc.)
  • For example, if you have an upcoming essay due in the next week for English class, you may want to prioritize going to your English teacher’s FLEX for assistance before the paper is due.
  • Do not choose a room just because your friends will be in that room. You should choose a room where you can focus on your work and not be distracted.
  • Follow the FLEXpectations and don’t be afraid to ask your teacher for help. They are there to support you.

FLEX - making up missed tests

  • Know how your teachers want you to make-up any of their tests that you missed (ask your teacher)!
  • If you need to make up a missing test during FLEX, check your TeachMore account (https://teachmore.org/american/students) to see if your teacher has scheduled an appointment during FLEX on a certain day to make up the test.
  • If your teacher has not scheduled an appointment for you during FLEX to make-up a test, be proactive and reach out to your teacher by email or schedule your own appointment with them through the TeachMore website.
