�Connections

A key purpose of the network will be to strengthen existing relationships within and among individuals and organizations connected to the CSL BC work thus far and to continually expand these relationships.

  • Development of an infrastructure to coordinate all CSL activities in BC (e.g. contact data base, regular newsletters).
  • Expand the online access to BC CSL tools and resources.
  • Creation of new partnerships in the initiative, with a particular focus on building partnerships with First Nations education organizations, BCTF and ECEBC.
  • Develop and implement a communications strategy for the network.
  • Liaise with the Center for Systems Awareness.
  • Act as central resource and spokesperson for CSL in B.C.

Continuing to build capacity to practice CSL province wide and at all levels of the system. This will expand the reach of CSL training, including introductory and more advanced and targeted sessions

  • Expanded training opportunities for all education stakeholders.
  • Leadership and facilitation of a bi-weekly CSL Community of Practice.
  • Establishment of a CSL Mentorship program where new practitioners can be matched with more experienced individuals.
  • Regular presentations and workshops led by the Network Director to introduce new stakeholders to the concepts of Compassionate Systems.
  • Develop and implement a framework to evaluate the impact of CSL in B.C.

�Resources

The creation and adaptation of CSL tools and resources for the BC context with the intent to increase the accessibility and reach of the practices around the province.

  • The “Growing Compassionate Systems Leadership” Tool Kit published by the Human Early Learning Partnership will be updated and adapted for an education specific context.
  • Online access to tools and resources that have been developed for BC specific trainings and adapted for the context of participants.
  • Up to date links and emerging resources from global CSL practice will be made available. (Center for Systems Awareness, Presencing Institute, Cultivating Compassion Institute)
