About this series…
If you've landed on this page, then you probably have in your hands one of our Elska collectors' cards, specifically one from оur 'Слава Любові: Львів’ / 'Long Live Love: Lviv' collection. These are illustrations by the artist Tuink Tom based on photography from 'Elska Lviv (Ukraine)'.
Fourteen men from Elska's Lviv series were originally preselected for this series, and then three or four images of each were sent to Tuink Tom. He was then asked to produce ten illustrations based on them, with the only caveat that yellow and blue (the Ukrainian flag colours) should be included somewhere in the set.

About the artist…
Tuink Tom is a Colombian artist who blends minimalism and eroticism in his art, forgetting all the stereotypes about male bodies. His tagline, "Being yourself is erotic enough to be art" melds so well with Elska's values that it was only a matter of time that a collaboration would take place!

More info: The original photograph that this illustration is based on can be found on page 32 of the first and second print runs of the first edition of Elska Lviv. Note the Ukrainian blue motif is added to the tablecloth drawn here, though in the original image the cloth is cream in colour.

More info: The original photograph that this illustration is based on can be found on spread 129 of the new Elska Ekstra Lviv e-zine. Gone are the strange black strings that attach to his legs in the original scene, but added is a lovely rendition of Dima's cock and balls!

More info: The original photograph that this illustration is based on can be found on page 91 of the new Elska Lviv print issue. The colours here were altered to a fitting Ukrainian blue and yellow motif, apart from one pop of pink… at the nipple!

More info: The original photograph that this illustration is based on can be found on page 119 of the new Elska Lviv print issue. Missing from the original however is a little special something poking out from his shorts, and the change of underwear colour from blue to yellow. Sometimes a little artistic license can be excused!

The rather silly, childish, and downright distracting floral decals on the background of the original have been removed by Tuink Tom here – all the better to draw focus on Sasha!

More info: The source image for this illustration can be found on the cover of the new edition Elska Lviv print mag. Tuink Tom interrupts his usual dual-tone style to add the blue and yellow of Serhii's Ukrainian heart badge, allowing focus to compete with Serhii's rather generous genitals.
