Your Artist Statement

Who did you pick?

Why is this person important in your life?

What color(s) did you use in your painting? Why?

What objects did you draw and why?

32 of 33

The caregiver I selected was _______________________.

I picked this person because ____________________________. I used ________ for my monoprint because ______________________. The objects I drew that made up my shape were _________________________________________.

I picked these objects because____________________.

33 of 33

The caregiver I selected was my aunt.

I picked this person because she has always been

supportive of me. She is always willing to pick up the phone when I call. I

used bright colors because bright colors are her

favorite. She really loves purple, so I made sure to include purple in my mono print.

The objects I drew that made up my shape were _my little pony, change, a book, and a flower.

I picked these objects because we have an inside joke

with My Little Pony. She is particular like paying with exact change, and she is thoughtful when she sends books and flowers.
