و اخبر اخاب ايزابل بكل ما عمل ايليا و كيف انه قتل جميع الانبياء بالسيف.

فارسلت ايزابل رسولا الى ايليا تقول هكذا تفعل الالهة و هكذا تزيد ان لم اجعل نفسك كنفس واحد منهم في نحو هذا الوقت غدا.

And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, also how he had executed all the prophets with the sword.

Then Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah, saying, "So let the gods do [to me,] and more also, if I do not make your life as the life of one of them by tomorrow about this time".

فلما راى ذلك قام و مضى لاجل نفسه و اتى الى بئر سبع التي ليهوذا و ترك غلامه هناك. ثم سار في البرية مسيرة يوم حتى اتى و جلس تحت رتمة و طلب الموت لنفسه و قال قد كفى الان يا رب خذ نفسي لانني لست خيرا من ابائي.

And when he saw [that,] he arose and ran for his life, and went to Beersheba, which [belongs] to Judah, and left his servant there. But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, "It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I [am] no better than my fathers!".

و اضطجع و نام تحت الرتمة و اذا بملاك قد مسه و قال قم و كل.

فتطلع و اذا كعكة رضف و كوز ماء عند راسه فاكل و شرب ثم رجع فاضطجع.

Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, "Arise [and] eat".

Then he looked, and there by his head [was] a cake baked on coals, and a jar of water. So he ate and drank, and lay down again.

ثم عاد ملاك الرب ثانية فمسه و قال قم و كل لان المسافة كثيرة عليك.

فقام و اكل و شرب و سار بقوة تلك الاكلة اربعين نهارا و اربعين ليلة الى جبل الله حوريب.

And the angel of the LORD came back the second time, and touched him, and said, "Arise [and] eat, because the journey [is] too great for you". So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God.

و دخل هناك المغارة و بات فيها و كان كلام الرب اليه يقول ما لك ههنا يا ايليا. فقال قد غرت غيرة للرب اله الجنود لان بني اسرائيل قد تركوا عهدك و نقضوا مذابحك و قتلوا انبياءك بالسيف فبقيت انا وحدي و هم يطلبون نفسي لياخذوها.

And there he went into a cave, and spent the night in that place; and behold, the word of the LORD [came] to him, and He said to him, "What are you doing here, Elijah?". So he said, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God of hosts; for the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life".

فقال اخرج و قف على الجبل امام الرب و اذا بالرب عابر و ريح عظيمة و شديدة قد شقت الجبال و كسرت الصخور امام الرب و لم يكن الرب في الريح و بعد الريح زلزلة و لم يكن الرب في الزلزلة. و بعد الزلزلة نار و لم يكن الرب في النار و بعد النار صوت منخفض خفيف.

Then He said, "Go out, and stand on the mountain before the LORD" And behold, the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, [but] the LORD [was] not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, [but] the LORD [was] not in the earthquake;. And after the earthquake a fire, [but] the LORD [was] not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice.

فلما سمع ايليا لف وجهه بردائه و خرج و وقف في باب المغارة و اذا بصوت اليه يقول ما لك ههنا يا ايليا. فقال غرت غيرة للرب اله الجنود لان بني اسرائيل قد تركوا عهدك و نقضوا مذابحك و قتلوا انبياءك بالسيف فبقيت انا وحدي و هم يطلبون نفسي لياخذوها.

So it was, when Elijah heard [it,] that he wrapped his face in his mantle and went out and stood in the entrance of the cave. Suddenly a voice [came] to him, and said, "What are you doing here, Elijah?". And he said, "I have been very zealous for the LORD God of hosts; because the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life".

فقال له الرب اذهب راجعا في طريقك الى برية دمشق و ادخل و امسح حزائيل ملكا على ارام. (1مل19 : 1-15)

Then the LORD said to him: "Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael [as] king over Syria. (1King 19 : 1-15)

ثم سار في البرية مسيرة يوم حتى اتى و جلس تحت رتمة و طلب الموت لنفسه و قال قد كفى الان يا رب خذ نفسي لانني لست خيرا من ابائي. و اضطجع و نام تحت الرتمة و اذا بملاك قد مسه و قال قم و كل. (1مل19 : 4 - 5)

But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a broom tree. And he prayed that he might die, and said, "It is enough! Now, LORD, take my life, for I [am] no better than my fathers!". Then as he lay and slept under a broom tree, suddenly an angel touched him, and said to him, "Arise [and] eat". (1 Kings 19 : 4 - 5)

فتطلع و اذا كعكة رضف و كوز ماء عند راسه فاكل و شرب ثم رجع فاضطجع.

So he arose, and ate and drank; and he went in the strength of that food forty days and forty nights as far as Horeb, the mountain of God. Storms and intellectual and psychological fluctuations do not allow the discovery of God's presence

الله وراء الريح و الزلزلة لكن ليس فيها .. إنما هو العلاج

God is behind the wind and the earthquake but not in it but He is the cure.

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith . 8- Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all who have loved His appearing. (2Tim 4 : 7 – 8)
