Success can quietly feed one’s ego

When Does the Servant Realize His Need for Grace?
لأنك تقول: إني أنا غني وقد استغنيت، ولا حاجة لي إلى شيء، ولست تعلم أنك أنت الشقي والبئس وفقير وأعمى وعريان. (رؤ 3 : 17)
Because you say, 'I am rich, have become wealthy, and have need of nothing' -- and do not know that you are wretched, miserable, poor, blind, and naked -- (Rev 3 : 17)

Humiliation, temptation, great losses

Honestly confronting ourselves (repentance)
قد لا يكتشف الخادم ... و يظل في حالة شكوى وتذمر و تدهور
The Servant may not realize this … and remains in a state of complaint, frustration and spiritual deterioration

كذلك أيها الأحداث، اخضعوا للشيوخ، وكونوا جميعا خاضعين بعضكم لبعض، وتسربلوا بالتواضع، لأن "الله يقاوم المستكبرين، وأما المتواضعون فيعطيهم نعمة." (1بط 5 : 5)
Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders. Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for "God resists the proud, But gives grace to the humble." (1Pe 5 : 5)

وتفاضلت نعمة ربنا جدا مع الإيمان والمحبة التي في المسيح يسوع.

يا الله أنت عرفت حماقتي، وذنوبي عنك لم تخف. لا يخز بي منتظروك يا سيد رب الجنود. لا يخجل بي ملتمسوك يا إله إسرائيل. ( مز 69 : 5 – 6 )
O God, You know my foolishness; And my sins are not hidden from You. Let not those who wait for You, O Lord God of hosts, be ashamed because of me; Let not those who seek You be confounded because of me, O God of Israel. ( Psalm 69 : 5 – 6 )
