What is Project Corona ?

Project Corona is an experimental, proof-of-concept research on COVID19 risk management model which has the potentials to develop into end-user applications to predict COVID19 risk and guide infection control strategies globally

Validating and integrating risk factors for accurate predictive model using machine learning

    • Personal health risk (age, sex, cormorbities, vaccination status, duration, etc) Example of data resources: JHU COVID-19 Dashboard, MOH Malaysia, etc

    • Infection risk (case incidence, case prediction, R-naught, mortality rate, ICU rate, etc). Example of data resources : JHU COVID-19 Dashboard, MOH Malaysia, etc

    • Environmental risk (atmospheric condition, climate variability, etc). Example of data resources: GES DISC, NASA SEDAC, NASA GIOVANNI , etc)

    • Policy risk (SOPs, mask mandate, lockdown, vaccination rate, etc). Example of data resources (MOH Malaysia, CSA Canada, etc)

    • Social risk (mobility, traffic, nighlights, airports/ports etc). Example of data resources (MOH Malaysia, EO dash board, NASA Earth Data, etc)
