  • Adopted at the 1933 National FFA Convention

  • Implemented to show unity across the organization

Proper Use of the Jacket

  • The jacket can only be worn by members
  • It should be kept clean and neat
  • It should only be worn on official occasions (competitions, banquets, awards)
  • Members should act PROFESSIONALLY when wearing the jacket
  • Any degrees you earn should be worn under your name on the right side of the jacket. No more that 3 medals should be worn on the jacket (highest degree, highest office, highest award)

  • Black skirt �- knee length or longer, hemmed evenly across the bottom, with a slit no longer than 2 inches above the knee, excluding the kick pleat.

  • Black slacks. (No jeans,

leather, pleather, etc.)
