2. Complete holds & action items, including TSI eligibility & permission form process

1. Application for Admission

You may apply online NOW for Fall 2025 and Summer 2025!

Complete an application at applytexas.org

*Your application must be PROCESSED before your next steps*

2. Admissions & Onboarding

• Your high school must approve ALL classes, including non-dual credit classes (concurrent).
• Complete action items & holds (Campus safety, meningitis documentation, TSI, permission form, etc.)

Campus Safety Training

• Complete in Workday – View Action Items in Upper Right Corner
• Click link to watch online video
• Hold will be removed within one hour

Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination

• Required for classes taken on a Collin Campus
• Complete in Workday – View Action Items in Upper Right Corner
• Click link to upload documentation or waiver to Med+Proctor
• Hold will be removed after approved and processed, usually 2-3 days

TSIA Scores Required

Alternative Scores

PSAT scores will be provided by your high school

SAT / ACT – student will need to download their score reports and send to dualcredit@collin.edu once they have their CWID

High School Permission Form

The Permission Form process will be completed electronically in FISD’s Laserfiche system.

3. Registration

All students will be registered by the P-12 Partnerships Office

• High schools will provide P-12 Partnerships an approved list of students, courses and class periods for registration.
• P-12 Partnerships will register and notify students of registration and payment deadline.

For Dual Credit and Concurrent Classes 

4. Payment

• Students are responsible for viewing their Collin College schedule and submitting payment by high school stated payment deadline.
• Students may not be added back into dual credit courses if dropped for non-payment (based on ISD policy).
• Tuition is paid each semester.
• Tuition is $67/credit hour. $203 for 3-credit hour course.
• Students eligible for Free/Reduced Lunch will have their cost of tuition waived by Collin College.
• Dual credit students are eligible to apply for Collin College scholarships
