I chose soil erosion because I want to be a farmer when I grow up. Soil erosion can be a problem in many fields. Leaning about soil erosion can help me in the future.

After completing my experiment I gathered the following data:

  1. The first bottle with potting soil only eroded.
  2. The second bottle had no erosion because of the rocks and mulch prevented erosion.
  3. The third bottle had no erosion because the plants prevented erosion.

My hypothesis was correct, the first bottle with only soil was the only one that had erosion. I felt excited to learn more about soil erosion, and I like doing experiments. I would add more water if I did this experiment again.
