Grading

  • All Tests (1 - 2 Unit Tests per marking period)� 40 % of final marking period grade�
  • Quizzes (2 – 4 quizzes per marking period)� 30 % of final marking period grade�
  • Homework� 30 % of final marking period grade� This includes “mini quizzes”� * Assesses materials after homework review� * Each is equivalent in points to one � homework assignment.

Homework

  • All assignments are posted on Google� Classroom.
  • Each assignment is graded upon proper� presentation, not correct answers.
  • Students must present proof of answers� (step-by-step process used to solve problem) in� order to receive full credit.
  • If a student is struggling, he/she should� complete as much as possible of given problem� and/or explain specific struggles.

  • When absent, make sure to check Google Classroom for any assignments. And check for due dates for missed assignments upon return.�
  • Ask Questions and/or assistance whenever not sure about something, confused about something, or struggling with something. �
  • As of October additional, voluntary practice will be� posted on Google Classroom at the end of each week� for students who need or request additional� practice problems.
