Informing others to help them understand how to limit the amount of pollution and toxic gases that go into the air making.

Our project connects to the Global Context, Globalization and sustainability because we are trying to inform others to help take care of the environment.

We were all in touch.

We had almost no problem but sometimes not all the group member wasn’t there many times.

  • How often did you meet with your coach and did you communicate with your coach outside of coaching sessions?

We met usually once a week.

Our group evaluated evidence while we were gathering information. We found information and checked if it related to our main point and presentation. We looked at how trustworthy the site also is to make sure we get the best information we could. We also reviewed the information we gotten after we typed it down onto the presentation and revised it.

Yes, we were able to complete our action based on our plans.

Reflection

Criterion D (ii): reflect on how completing the project has extended their knowledge and understanding of service learning

  • What did you learn about your community or your topic?

Victor: I learned that pollution is a huge problem for not only our community but for our world because of the damages it causes to our environment and health.

​

Brian: I’ve learned that pollution can serious harm to our planet and us humans also other living species.

​

Ceana: I learned about how pollution has ability to cause wildfires is some areas where it’s already pretty warm.

​

  • Why is community service important?(why is it important to help your community?

Victor: Community service is important because in reality not many people care to help our world so community service is a way for people to help

Brian: Community service is important because each they go clean it helps our community.

Ceana: It is important because if a community service wasn’t available we could lose this Earth sooner than we think.

  • Do you think your project was successful? why or why not?

Victor: yes, because not only does it tell the importance of community service but it also tells the damages that happen and could happen if we don't help

Brain: Yes, I think our project was successful because it proves and gives examples of pollution and the harm it causes and how to reduce pollution.

Ceana: Yes I think our project was successful because it should be able to get our point across about pollution.
