Work Period: Narrative Writing Pre-Assessment

Steps:

  • Write your heading on loose-leaf notebook paper.
  • Read and annotate the prompt.
  • Jot ideas to plan.
  • Draft in sentences and paragraphs (as many as you need to be complete).
  • Re-read your draft to edit and revise.
  • Staple your papers with the loose-leaf sheet on back.
  • Place the packet in Mrs. Carter’s mailbox.
