  • Pray for the 2025 cohort of new staff & interns who are currently undergoing New Staff Core Training (classroom sessions + field coaching) since Aug. Pray for strength as Winnie coordinates 9 weeks of classroom trainings till end Nov.

  • Thankful for strength in coordinating the bi-annual Worldwide Day of Prayer on 7 Oct, theme: Fixing our eyes on Jesus (Heb 12:1-2).
  • Pray for Winnie to be well-rested in the LORD even as she serves actively in ministry.
  • Pray for Winnie to abide in the LORD daily.
  • Please pray for protection (physical, spiritual, emotional) as she battles in spiritual warfare 🙏🏻
  • Pray for Winnie's elderly parents (early 80s): Pray that they will take good care of their diet, health/habits and moderate their active lifestyle pace. Winnie’s dad had a fall off bicycle on 20/9 & had a wrist fracture but thankfully managed to align back so now need to let it recover naturally. Dad has to adjust to slow down his active lifestyle. Pray for Winnie’s mum to have God’s protection and strength too as now she’s the main caregiver. Pray that she will not overtrain herself from the cooking & cleaning.

Updates

SYFC co-workers continue to persevere in reaching out to youths which can be challenging and yet when the youths come to know the Lord, it’s so rewarding. At HR we are glad for the entry of some young workers these past few months. At the same time, we are also sad to part with a few of our older staff whom the Lord has called to serve in some other areas. But we thank God that they are still volunteering with us whenever they are able to.

1. Pray for good health and strong immunity for all to continue serving the Lord.

2. Pray for wisdom, clear & sharp mind to discharge my daily responsibilities.

3. Pray for the Lord to send the right person to take over my role in his good time.

4. Pray that I will draw closer to the Lord each day.

1. Thank God for the new staff who joined the ministry, pray that they will grow in the Lord and work well together.

2. Thank God for those had served well and had moved on to new areas as the Lord had directed them.

Prayer Requests:

Ministry Updates:

  1. I’m serving as the camp director for this missions conference. Please pray for wisdom and strength as I handle the many detailed tasks, meetings, and coordination.
  2. Pray also for my theological studies—that I can balance ministry, academics, family, and mobilization work.
  3. Please lift up my marriage with my wife, that God would continue to protect and guide us as we serve together. Pray also that our children would love, follow, and draw near to God with all their heart.

1) Meeting church pastors, mission leaders and agencies partners are a norm and a very part of day to day activities for Raynard. Yes, we are seeing more Chinese churches and mission organizations working and collaborating together to serve each other and help send workers into the mission field.

2) Come October 11th-17th, Raynard is leading and coordinating a Chinese mission conference in Pulai Springs Resort in JB. We are expecting 250 people from various countries to attend.

  1. Thank God that my mother has finally been discharged from the hospital and is now recuperating at home. She is bedridden and requires assistance from a caregiver for all activities. However, we are grateful that she remains conscious and able to recognize people.
  2. Thank God for the start of this week's missions conference. We are also thankful for the efforts and service of our co-workers, who have worked together to help our brothers and sisters gain a deeper understanding of missions.

Exploring new ways to form a community and attract different types of youth through playing board games or sports.

  • Thank God for a time of fruitful ITE Team retreat with the volunteers to align and recommit ourselves to God together.
