• I will be out on Thursday for my first Tec21 conference. This is a monthly conference where I get to meet with other teachers in the surrounding areas to discuss best uses of technology in the classroom. I’m excited about finding some new tools to use with the class!

• As the year progresses, the kids do more and more independently. I’ve seen growth already and look forward to seeing them get stronger in their skills. The 4th graders have been great leaders!

• I attended my first monthly TEC 21 and found a few new resources to use with the students. Thanks to Mrs. Boehne for filling in for me.
• We did our first preschool pals activity. The preschoolers made pigeon from Mo Willems book. Our kids were great leaders!

• Tuesday is the PTL ice cream social at 6. Plan on coming and enjoying fellowship with one another. You’ll also be able to hear about all of the amazing work our PTL does. We need your help to make our school great!

• We love that the firefighters came to visit us this week. They always teach us lots of important things. One thing they stressed was that the kids know their address and parent’s phone numbers - Does your child know theirs?? Please ask and if not, help them memorize these. • Teachers are heading to a conference in Bloomington tomorrow - enjoy the 4 day weekend!

• We had a fantastic week celebrating our school family. We had chapel each day, dressed up, and did activities with our prayer families. Everything from mission projects to bounce houses! The kids had a great time!

• I left parent teacher notes on my desk with all the chaos of the end of the day Friday… I’ll send these home on Monday. Thanks again for understanding about my weird schedule that day.
