Free From Award (FFA) logos are made available to those companies that have entered any cycle of the Free From Awards (FFA) and who are wishing to use them for promotional purposes.

There is no additional cost for using the logo, this is covered within the cost of entering, but usage must be in accordance with our application guidelines.

The Free From Awards (FFA) reserves the right to refuse permission to use the Free From Awards (FFA) logo/s if the style or presentation in any way breaches the regulations.

It is not permitted to alter or amend any logos or to use key features of the logo to produce your own logos or designs. If you are wanting to make any changes then these need to be supplied in writing and with clear visuals and approval secured by the Free From Awards (FFA) .

The Free From Awards (FFA) cover all-year-round and seasonal products. Medal winning products will have access to the relevant Free From Awards (FFA) - Gold, Silver, Bronze, Commended, Finalist, Entrant applicable logo however these will no longer be specific to a particular cycle, they will just be Free From Awards 2026 Gold, Silver, Bronze etc. Please refer to slide 8 for a visual reference.

The Retailer of the Year award logo may be used up until 31st May in the year the following the win.�

The logo must stand alone and cannot be combined with any other words or graphic devices.

To help us to monitor the correct usage and ensure that all entrants commit and adhere to, our regulations, we ask that usage is shared with us.

Winning (Gold, Silver or Bronze) and Commended logos can be displayed:

  • On the Winning or Commended product. (If used on multi pack products logo must be clearly attributed to the award winning product).
  • On the website of the company that makes, sells or advertises the product but, where applicable, details of the award winning product/s should be referenced
  • On social media of the company that makes, sells or advertises the product but, where applicable, details of the award winning product/s should be referenced
  • In print; this includes in-store POS or in printed media, market stalls or show stands: where applicable / possible, details of the award winning product/s should be clear
  • Email, the relevant award logos can be used in emails or included within an email signature of an award-winning company but it should be accompanied by the details of the award-winning product/s

If the packaging design or format changes you can retain the logo.

If there is no change to a product’s recipe/formulation then the logo can remain in place for as long as the entrant feels this to be relevant. We do however suggest this does not exceed 3 years.

If a product’s recipe/formulation changes the logo must be removed.

Logo size, colour & format

Size & Layout

You can change the size of the logo to suit your needs, but you may not alter the colour or font of the logo without approval from the Free From Awards (FFA).

We recommend a minimum size of 20mm

There is no maximum size but please ensure that the logo is clear and lines are true and not pixelated.

Clearance must be given to the logo when printed directly onto packaging, marketing material and signage graphics.

Colour

The Free From Awards logos can only be reproduced in the colours provided.

We have Gold, Silver & Bronze logos in their respective colours with a metallic gradient effect options.

All other logos are in the FFA Yellow (Pantone: 101).

It is not permitted to change the colours of the logos or print them in black and white.

If this presents an issue then entrants should contact us and we will endeavour to work together to find a solution.

Formats

Logos are available in the following files:

Vector.eps : the best file type for print, will increase to any size without loss of clarity.

NB: you will need Illustrator software to access these files.

.jpg : suitable for digital

.png : suitable for digital, has a transparent background hence best for placement on websites

The Free From Awards (FFFA) logos are provided in a digital format, which is included within the entry fee.

If you would like any stickers or other printed material then we are happy to connect you with The Naked Creative who produce all of our logos hence they have all the assets to hand and have templates ready for stickers.
