Hedgehog Class Newsletter: Autumn Term 2

Welcome our second term in Hedgehog Class. We are all so proud of how hard you are working and we have lots to look forward to this term including some exciting projects, a visit to The Rural Life Museum and a chance to hear more of your stories on how your family contributed to the war effort.

Housekeeping

Please make sure that you bring the following things into school every day:

  • reading book and planner
  • P.E kit
  • your water bottle
  • a waterproof coat

PE

  • P.E is on Tuesdays. Please make sure you have your kit.

Enrichment

Home Learning

Homework will be sent home and collected in on a Friday. Children are expected to spend 30 minutes completing this work. Please learn your spellings too.

Reading

Children should be reading X4 per week. We will check planners on a Monday. If they are a confident reader, they can read independently.

Advanced Warning

We will be building Anderson Shelters this term. Please save cardboard and any other materials that you think will be useful.
