Step 1: Add at least 1 college to Dashboard.

Step 2: Go to My Colleges, Select Recommenders and FERPA (may need to have add Bow High School under school in Education Section if you have not already done so)

Step 4: Read and Agree to Terms, Select Continue, follow directions and Save.

You can view your SAT/ACT scores in Naviance.

If you are sending scores, you MUST submit an Official Score Report directly from College Board or ACT, at least 2 weeks prior to deadline!

You will log into your College Board Account or ACT Account to pay for the Official Score Report to be sent to your college, if required.

Common App Essay

  • Read the seven essay prompts on the Common Application. www.commonapp.org
  • Think of an interesting story to tell that answers one of the prompts and reveals something about you not already shared in your application.
  • Good essays evolve and take many edits. Think of who will read these over for you.
  • Some of your colleges may have a supplement, it may be an extra essay, so look at them now.
  • Use of Additional Information - Extenuating circumstances such as injuries, long-term illnesses, transfers, etc., that impacted your high school experience

  3. Monthly Treats!
    • Your class officers want to do something each month of school to celebrate senior year! Some are big, some are small! If you have ideas, share them with us!
    • Sunday October 27th - Screamfest at Canobie!! We are going to be offering deep discount tickets to Screamfest! Look for the message on Parentsquare soon!
  4. Homecoming
    • Weekend of September 21st!
  5. Sibling Pics and Superlative pics will be taken weekly on Wednesdays and Thursdays from September 14th through October 6th. 8:00 - 8:15am - meet by the front doors. If you have a schedule conflict due to CRTC please see Mrs. Hudak asap to make other arrangements.
  6. Yearbooks photos - October 4th to take senior portraits. www.bowseniors.com to sign up.
    • yearbooks are only $59 through September 9th!

PORTRAITS:�- These are not the same as your ID photos.�- Only portraits taken by Tim McGrath will be published in the yearbook.�- The next date for senior portraits will be October 4th. Sign up information to follow.�- There is no fee for getting your portrait taken

SIBLING PICS:� - These will be taken during Flex on September 11, 13 and 15 - meet at the front of the school

SUPERLATIVE NOMINATIONS/VOTING:�- Please check your email for a google form to nominate your classmates - it’s due tomorrow!!!�- The form to vote will come out once nominations have been received.�- Photos of the winners will be taken during Flex on September 25, 27 and 29. Dress up and bring props!
