In communities we gather

For encouragement in life;

We need grace, acceptance, nurture,

Ways to halt discordant strife.

If we have been badly treated,

Accidently or by plan,

Let us seek restoring measures

In whatever way we can.

We may sometimes need correction,

Others may behave with spite;

Reconciliation hovers

When we try to put things right.

If we claim to be disciples

We will work for unity;

We will show we are disciples

When we live in harmony.

Jesus shows by his compassion

How to live with injury;

Never let a hurt control us;

Let us live triumphantly.
