Cut short option back to Earl Sterndale: turn right onto path. Total distance will be 5km.
Halfway point at Hollinsclough – with toilets at the Village Team Room opposite the Church.
Nearly there but the last hill (Parkhouse) can be avoided by turning right onto the track and walking around.
Parking. c.500m from the start in Earl Sterndale. There will be refreshments at the end.
Sun 6 April 2025 – the Peak District Dragon’s Back Ridge
Turn onto footpath up High Wheeldon after 1200m. This is steep but you can walk on the road around the hill instead.
