New question under the Safety & Crime section: Was the incident resolved?

Call to 911 = resolved if Community Ambassadors have made the call to 911 and have connected the affected individual(s) with a first responder

Intervention/De-escalation = resolved if Community Ambassadors have successfully de-escalated the situation

Overdose Response = resolved if Community Ambassadors have provided the appropriate response based on NARCAN/overdose response training

Safety & Crime Logging Best Practices:

  • Log all incidents: Some incidents require an incident report, some may not
    • Incident report for emergencies or serious incidents
    • If no incident report, Ambassadors must still include notes about what happened
    • Very important to describe what happened: How did you and your partner respond? What were your roles? What was the outcome?�
  • Responses to merchant calls:
    • Team Lead will log the merchant call
    • Responding Ambassadors will also submit a log
      • If responding to a disturbance, log as Intervention/De-Escalation
      • If disturbance is no longer in progress upon arrival, log as regular Merchant Visit
