Nutrition

Goal

To eat healthy foods that promote good gain. We use a point system to help us measure our progress.

The goal is to get 40 points everyday!

How to get 40 points

  • You can earn 10 points per meal for three meals. For a total of 30 points.
  • You can earn 10 points for snacks. For a total of 10 points.
  • You cannot earn more then 10 points at a meal. If you eat more then 10 points they do not carry over. The max you can earn for a meal is 10.

Food Points

  • Grains and Cereal = 1 Point
  • Fruit and Vegis = 2 Points
  • Dairy = 2 Points
  • Protein = 2 Points
  • Extra Large Serving = 1 Point

A serving is roughly the size of your fist.

Large Honey Nut Cheerios (Grain)

1 point grain, 1 point large

Milk (Dairy)

2 points

Green Smoothie (Vegi)

2 points

Scrambled Eggs (Protein)

2 points

Orange (Fruit)

2 points

5 Lethal Foods

  • Sodas
  • French Fries
  • Potato Chips, Dorritos, etc..
  • Pastries, donuts, cookies, etc.
  • Candies

5 Healthy Foods

  • Water should be drink of choice
  • Eat fish, chicken, and other kinds of meat
  • Eat fruits and vegetables
  • Choose natural foods over processed foods
  • Make foods like chicken, jerky, protein shakes, pbjs, nuts, etc. your snack foods.

  • You are what you eat!
  • A six pack is made in the kitchen!
  • You gain mass by eating. You gain muscle mass by eating and lifting!
  • Even if you don't want mass eating healthy will help you perform better. Just lower your daily score.
