Associates of Arts, Science and Applied Science
Carl Wunsche will add Associates of Arts, Science and Applied Science tracks to its already rigorous academic program beginning with the 2022-2023 school year.
These tracks will give incoming freshmen the opportunity to take college courses starting their second semester of their first year of high school and complete their associates degree by the time they graduate high school.
They will also earn a multi-disciplinarian endorsement along with their pathway endorsement ( Public service, STEM, Business and Industry).

Primary Differences between Associates of Arts and Associates Science
Associates of Arts
Primary Core courses including 3 hours of math and 8 hours of science and 18 hours of electives for a total of 60 hours
Associates of Science
Primary Core courses including 6 hours of math, 16 hours of science and 7 hours of electives for a total of 60 hours
Associates of Applied Science in Paralegal
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) predicted that employment of paralegals and legal assistants will increase by 10% from 2019-2029 (). In May 2019, the BLS reported that the median annual salary for these professionals was $51,740.
The Cost of taking classes through Lonestar to earn an associates degree
(Example English 1301 and US History 1301- $72)
There may be additional charges for fees and books
Student who choose to follow the associates of arts track will take the TSIA (elar) during the fall semester and follow the course work listed.

85 plus in Core courses ( English, Science, Math, Social, Studies) for Semester 1 and Q3 of 8th grade year
90% attendance for school year ( if there are circumstances that kept student from meeting this attendance requirement such as COVID or hospitalization this will be taken into consideration.)
