FAQs

Can I just walk-in, pay and use the space?

  • Yes you can, but only for hotdesking. One-time users would need to pay the daily fee of $17 to the QR Code on this slide. For other options, please do email us at: admin@openfields.sg

Can I come for a *FREE trial before deciding?

  • Yes you can! Simply drop us an email at admin@openfields.sg to set a date and get your 1-day FREE trial for hotdesking to see if it’s for you. This must be requested with at least 1 week notice.

FAQs

What’s the difference between Hot-deskers & Private office?

  • Hot-desking spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis, Mon-Fri, 9.30am - 6.30pm. In contrast, private office enjoy the additional benefits of dedicated workspaces with storage for their belongings and have unlimited access.

Can another friend join me for a short time?

  • Unfortunately, access is granted on a per-person basis. If your friend would like to join you, they would need to pay the $17 daily fee.
  • Only for Private office, you can have clients/guests for work purposes/meetings

FAQs

Are there any water coolers/ vending machines?

  • No there are no water coolers, but there is a self-service kettle and water jugs which the tenants independently replenish. The pantry is also stocked with some tea bags and snacks based on the generous contributions of the tenants (no obligation)

Is the space air conditioned/ Fan to use?

  • Yes, however it is not a centralised/automated air conditioner, therefore if you are the first to come in you can turn it on, but if you are the last one to leave the place please turn it off. It is also an option to open the windows for natural ventilation on cooler days.
  • Besides the aircon, there is a large central fan which can be used

FAQs

Is the space cleaned?

  • Yes, Open Fields employs a cleaner, but each tenant is responsible for taking care of the space ie. Washing your own utensils, cups, plates, etc, throwing your trash away into the bins as well as ensuring the toilet is left clean after your “business transaction”.

Are there any Charging Points?

  • Yes, there are multiple charging ports with extension multi-plugs available to use, do ensure to turn them off when not in use.

Can I cook here?

  • As this is a coworking space, to minimise any disturbances we do not allow cooking, but feel free to bring your own food and heat it up in the pantry or get a bite from any nearby food hawkers.

  • Catering-friendly (but user must ensure trash is cleared from the space & trash bags brought down to the big green bin at the building entrance. Failure to do so will result in a $50 cleaning fee.

FAQs

Is my booking inclusive of set-up & tear down?

  • Yes. No additional time will be given for set-up or tear down. Any additional time taken will be subject to additional charges.

How do I book the space?

  • To check for the space availability and to book it, email us at: admin@openfields.sg

Is the space pet-friendly?

  • Unfortunately, it is not. No pets are allowed in the space.

FAQs

Can I do any cooking at Open Fields?

  • Unfortunately no. No live fires are allowed in the space.

​

Can I use all the furniture?

  • Yes. All the tables & chairs are moveable, additional chairs are also available to use if needed. The space must be reset back to how it was originally by the end of the booking. Any damaged must be replaced or paid for.

​

Are there any toilets?

  • Yes. There are 2 toilets available and 1 has shower for usage if needed.

FAQs

Can I play around with the lights?

  • Yes, feel free to utilise the space to best fit your needs. Just ensure to not damage anything in the space. Customers will be liable for any damage that is done to the space/furniture during their event.

Can I decorate the place?

  • Yes. Feel free to decorate the space, but ensure to remove it at the end. Any damage to the walls or space will be the responsibility of

the user. No hammering or drilling or heavy adhesives that might damage the walls
