GOALS

Create space for people to share how they’re feeling.

Foster the ability to walk away with a sense of possibility and positivity on changes we can make.

Begin to identify what we can change that will provide the most change for the most people.

COLLECTIVE DISCUSSION AGREEMENTS

1. Be Considerate

We give one another the full time to speak. Also, we’ll try talk about roles rather than individual names.

2. Don’t React or Respond

To ensure we hear and value each other’s experience, on occasion we can ask to clarify what a speaker said, otherwise we won’t respond.

3. Center Yourself

Share how situations affect you personally.

4. Assume Best Intentions

No one is acting out of a desire to harm anyone.

5. Say it Messy

You may not be able to say what you want to perfectly. Say it anyway.

6. Sharing is Voluntary

We encourage but do not require everyone to speak.
