PSAT Digital

Readiness Check

  • October 3rd Extended Viking Time
    • ALL students should complete the Digital Readiness Check, PRIOR to testing
    • Take attendance on rosters provided and return it back to Career Center, C-4.
    • Make-up digital readiness check will happen Oct. 4th to Oct 10th.
  • What is it? How to complete it?
    • 1. Students take out their assigned Chromebooks & Distribute Testing Sign-in Tickets
      • Any student without a chromebook can go to Library to check one out or use staff loaner chromebook
    • 2. Students sign in to their “Bluebook” application in their kiosk on bottom left corner of chromebook
      • This is the secured testing College board appl. Staff assigned chromebooks can access the Bluebook appl.
    • 3. Students click “Test this Device”
    • 4. Complete a quick “Exam Setup”
      • This is to confirm students’ identity, agree to testing security, & answer optional questions, such as contact info, GPA, race/ethnicity, parent contact, etc.
    • 5. Complete “Test preview”
      • Students will test out the Bluebook testing tools

Reminders

  • Proctors will be released for 10 minutes during testing for a break. If a bathroom break is needed anytime, please call Ms. Wolfe & Ms. Evelyn
  • Behavioral issues/ urgent support needed, please call Ms. Jackson to escort student
  • Testing application issues or irregularities issues, please call Ms. Vang
  • All students should remain in class if they finish testing early. If they are a disruption to other students, they may resume back to their regular classes for the day.
  • Remind students to bring their Chromebooks fully charged on day of test. Loaners can be assigned to them in Library.
  • Students can get PSAT Practice Support on Oct. 4th, Wednesday after school 3:45-4:45 pm and anytime during lunch prior to test date in the Career Center (c4).
