�The AMCG Club is for all students who love Japanese Anime, drawing Manga, reading comics (DC, Marvel, etc) and avid gamers. We meet on Wednesdays at 2pm in Patton 103. During our meetings we play games and discuss shows, scenes, and characters across media. In addition, we set up gaming tournaments each semester. So come join us!

The Piscataway High School Badminton Club is a student run club, open for all members who enjoy playing badminton. Members will learn new skills, increase their knowledge of the rules, and have fun with other badminton enthusiasts. This club provides the opportunity to play a very popular, fun sport that isn’t offered yet in NJ as a high school athletic program. You don’t have to be an “athlete” to join, beginner levels welcomed! If you do love to compete, we have optional friendly in house competitions and tournaments. No need to buy your own equipment, plenty of rackets & birdies to go around. Come ready to serve up some fun!

The Chiefs Team is an ensemble of dedicated dancers whose mission is to promote school spirit, while entertaining an audience. Dancers on CDT train in all styles of dance, with an emphasis on jazz, hip hop and majorette. CDT performs at all home varsity football games, varsity basketball games and many other district events throughout the year. All dancers must audition for the team in the spring. Chiefs for Christ is a club that meets for the purpose of fellowship. We represent a part of the Christian population of Piscataway High but are not the only Christians at the high school. We promote and study the Word of God, pray, worship and discuss religious and moral issues in order to strengthen our faith. We also have guest speakers come in to lead the group on certain current topics. In the past, we have worked with the National Honor Society to prepare Easter Baskets for Elijah’s Promise in New Brunswick. We worked with Samaritan’s Purse International Disaster Relief to donate/ send toys to children in need all over the world. We have an annual opening party to start the new school year where all students are invited to meet with members.

PHS Girls Flag Football
PHS Girls Fag Football is currently a spring sports club that runs from March until the end of May.
Practice is daily after school for 2 hours, and games may be any day of the week, except Sundays.
9th through 12th grade girls are welcome to tryout for the team.
Sports physicals are required to tryout, are located on the school website and Genesis Parent Portal and are due to the nurse by February 1st, 2025.

The Société Honoraire de Français (SHF)
The aim of this organization is to stimulate interest in the study of French, to promote high standards of scholarship, to reward scholastic achievements, to create enthusiasm for and an understanding of francophone culture civilization, to promote and perpetuate international friendship, and to reward efforts toward furthering solidarity in the French speaking world.
Candidates must be enrolled in French 3 or higher and have maintained an A average in French for all levels prior as well as leading up to and during the semester of selection. In addition, candidates must have maintained a B average or higher in all other subjects during the semester of selection, as well as an averaged cumulative grade of B— in all other subjects for work awarded secondary school credit.

The Genders & Sexualities Alliance (GSA) is a student-run club which provides a safe place for students to meet, support each other, talk about issues related to sexual orientation and gender identity and expression, and work to end homophobia and transphobia. The Gender & Sexualities Alliance Club is open to ALL students regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. The GSA is a forum for students to come together and discuss issues that affect the school community and participate in activities that address social justice issues and promote equality in our school. Piscataway’s GSA organizes and participates in various campaigns such as Ally Week, National Day of Silence and the Week of Respect. This club is open to all students.
Girl Up Club
Girl Up, a United Nations student-led organization, is dedicated to working
towards creating a better future for girls growing up in developing nations.
Club members raise awareness about issues concerning these young women
through fundraising events. The mission of the club is to help create a world
where no matter who "she" is or where "she" lives, every girl has a chance to
safety, a childhood, an education, a family, and more.

The International Club of Cultural Arts, better known as the “ICCA” Club was created over 37 years ago with the purpose to promote unity and awareness of diversity within our school and community. The ICCA is one of the largest clubs at PHS (70 members). The club allows our students to take pride on who they are and gives them the opportunity to participate in different activities that not only promote their cultures and backgrounds, but also teach them about other cultures in Piscataway High School. Some of our more popular events from the past include a volleyball tournament, Garba Night, International Night, Make your Cultural Calendar Night and our annual HEAT show!

The members of Piscataway HS Key Club provide service through a variety of service projects: we provide volunteers for events throughout the district, create and implement service projects and charitable fundraising of our own. PHS Key Club also develops leadership through student officer led meetings and agenda development. Key Club members attend local, state and international events to develop leadership skills and serve the children of the world. Key Club is part of the Kiwanis International family, Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world one child and one community at a time.

Korean Culture Club
Korean Culture Club is a student-led organization that provides members with opportunities to explore and experience the rich and exciting world of modern and traditional Korean culture. The club is open to all students who are curious about Korea’s music, language, food, entertainment, and customs — no prior knowledge required!
Members of Piscataway HS Korean Culture Club participate in a wide variety of cultural activities: we learn basic Korean language and writing (Hangul), explore popular Korean media like K-pop and K-dramas, try traditional and modern Korean foods, and celebrate Korean holidays and traditions. The club also hosts interactive events such as game days, movie nights, food tastings, and cultural workshops.
The Korean Culture Club promotes cultural understanding, creativity, and friendship through student-led meetings and activities. Our goal is to create a fun and inclusive space for students to learn about Korean culture while building community here at PHS.

The PHS Math League is a student organization that participates in math contests for students across different grade levels. Each competition is designed to challenge their problem-solving skills by presenting a variety of problems, often with a focus on quick thinking and efficient strategies. We foster the development of students’ critical thinking and mathematical skills in preparation for these competitions. Competitions outside of school take place on Wednesday afternoons at 3:00pm, while those inside will be held Thursday immediately after school. The math league is open to all students of any grade level and background, just so long as you have a passion of mathematics and problem solving!

Med Club was established to give students an opportunity to learn about the various careers in the healthcare field. We have created a hub for students to engage and grow in their desired career fields. During the year we hope to invite multiple guest lecturers who will discuss their field of study. We will also take some time to review the application process for various medical programs. Students will fundraise for a charity and attend trips to the local Nursing homes and hospitals.

The Mock Trial team competes in the Mock Trial competition, governed by the NJ State Bar Foundation (NJSBF), where students simulate a real trial, either civil or criminal (alternating between the two each year). Initially, students try-out for the team, as the NJSBA limits membership to 15 students per school.
Over the course of several months, students will take on the role of either attorney or witness, learn courtroom procedure, and develop strategies for how to argue the case from both the plaintiff/prosecution and defense. The team then competes with teams from other schools at the Middlesex County Courthouse in New Brunswick, NJ. If successful, the Mock Trial team will then compete at the Regional level, partake in the Semi-Finals, then in the Finals. The competition takes place in front of a practicing judge and/or a practicing attorney.
This is a great team for you if you are a strong public speaker/or want to learn, great at developing logical arguments, enjoy acting and improv, and/or are interested in a future in the legal profession!

NEHS, founded and sponsored by Sigma Tau Delta, is open to secondary students and select faculty who have demonstrated exceptional ability in such areas as literary analysis, media studies, composition, linguistic study, and creative writing, and who meet the requirements of membership.
Piscataway High School’s chapter motto is "Sapere aude" meaning "Dare to know." Our chapter embraces the message of the NEHS national motto of service, while also emphasizing its members continue to explore and celebrate arts and letters. We foster literacy in the community all year through events like Piscataway Reads and Read Across America as well as volunteering our time for tutoring in the writing lab.

National Honor Society is more than just being on the Honor Roll. The PHS chapter of the National Honor Society establishes rules for membership that are based upon a student's outstanding performance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, and character. Students meeting the academic minimum are invited to apply in the fall of their Junior or Senior year. The criteria for selection form the foundation upon which the organization and its activities are built. Over the course of 5 months, the team prepares to debate a series of burning ethical issues relating to technology, science and society at the High School Ethics Bowl at Middlesex County College in January and, if successful, the National High School Ethics Bowl in North Carolina in the Spring.
Students will build comradery and have a lot of fun while working on presentation, listening, speaking and research skills.

Robotics Club mission is to develop students’ interest in STEM to compete in events against teams from other schools using VEX material. Develop technical skills, problem solving, wiring, Coding and fundamental concepts of Robotics. Competitive test-taking league for Biology, AP Bio, Chemistry, AP Chem, Physics, and Physics C (AP). Individual and team awards given at end of season if you participate in three exams. The Spanish Club is a space to discover and celebrate the richness of Hispanic culture beyond the classroom. Members explore music, movies, dance, art, food, and games from across the Spanish-speaking world. The SHH is an honor society for high school students enrolled in
Spanish and/or Portuguese, sponsored by the American Association
of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP).�
The SHH was formally organized as the Spanish National Honor
Society in 1953. The name was changed to Sociedad Honoraria
Hispánica in 1959. At present there are over 3,500 national and
international chapters of the SHH.
�The mission of the Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is to recognize high school achievement in Spanish and Portuguese and to promote interest in Hispanic and Luso-Brazilian studies.
�All accredited secondary schools are eligible to charter a chapter.

American Sign Language Honor Society
The Honors Society of ASL, is a program that second year ASL students can join. This is where they are given a chance as a group to learn more about Deaf culture and play an active role in contributing to the community.
The applicant must be a full time high school student (grades 9 – 12) who are in year 2 years(planning to take ASL 3) with an average of B or higher. A qualified candidate is someone who is willing to work with the school chapter advisor Ms. Hastings, as well as with other students, to serve as a positive role model in the area of American Sign Language and the community.
