i-Paddling Licenses for Students

  • Before any student is allowed to ‘officially’ use iPads in lessons, they must prepare for and take an ‘i-Paddling test’ and, if successful, they can be awarded an i-Paddling License which allows them to use iPads in lessons where iPads are being used.
  • Students who do not pass their i-Paddling Test cannot use iPads in lessons. Instead, they will be given other WS-based activities. (The Lovely Worksheets)
  • Students can have their i-Paddling licenses revoked at any time for a number of ‘offences’ such as not sharing or turn-taking, not staying on task, being careless with the iPads, causing damage to the iPads etc.
  • Each class at each year level will take their i-Paddling test after a number of introductory/practice lessons.
