Indonesia Special Economic Zones

  • Indonesian Special Economic Zones are areas with certain boundaries that have regional geo-economic and geostrategic advantages and are given special facilities and incentives as investment attractions. There are nineteen (19) SEZs spread from west to east of Indonesia, supported by the provision of infrastructure, provision of facilities and incentives as well as ease of investment.
  • SEZ is divided into two areas, namely Industrial SEZ and Tourism SEZ.
  • Industrial SEZ is an area designated for value-added industrial activities.
  • Tourism SEZ is an area designated for tourism business activities to support the implementation of entertainment and recreation, meetings and related activities.

The National Single Window Institution (LNSW) of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) as the organizer of the Indonesia National Single Window (SINSW) system, participated in the development of the Special Economic Zones Application System (SEZ) which is used for services and supervision of SEZ facilities.

This system is integrated nationally for the implementation of export and import provisions. Business Actor Profiles, SEZ Masterlist, Special Economic Zone Service Notifications (PJKEK), and Special Economic Zone Customs Notifications (PPKEK) can be accessed through this application.
