After years of perfect attendance and consistently completing tasks ahead of schedule, Sarah nervously approached her manager to request a few days off for a family emergency. Despite her impeccable record, her manager sighed and shook his head, saying, “I understand you’ve been reliable, but we’re short-staffed right now, and I just can’t approve any time off.”

Sarah felt disappointed, knowing she had given her all to the company, yet her needs were being overlooked. The manager added, “Maybe things will ease up next month, but for now, we need you here.”

SCENARIO

After a long day at work, Jake pulled into his driveway only to see his trash scattered across the lawn, with the neighbor's dog sniffing around. Frustrated, he walked over to the neighbor’s house and knocked, calmly explaining the situation. Instead of an apology, the neighbor angrily snapped, "It's just trash! Deal with it yourself!"

Before Jake could respond, the door slammed in his face. Jake stood there in disbelief, shaking his head at the unnecessary hostility.
