Teacher Notes

There are different ways to use this activity effectively.Consider what may work best for your learners.

Station Style:

  • Print slides 6-15 on paper and spread them out around your learning space. Have students visit different stations in their groups and record answers using printed copies of slides 4-5.
  • You may want duplicate copies of some stations. Some stations are quick and others require more work. Students will not spend equal amount of time at each station so consider this when setting up.
  • Students could be asked to complete any 7 in order to offer choices and limit time spent on the activity.

Warm-ups:

  • Use the slides individually to promote class discussion throughout the unit.
