A Reading from the first Book of Isaiah 55:1-3
Thus says the LORD: All you who are thirsty, come to the water!
You who have no money, come, receive grain and eat; Come, without paying and without cost, drink wine and milk! Why spend your money for what is not bread; your wages for what fails to satisfy? Heed me, and you shall eat well, you shall delight in rich fare. Come to me heedfully, listen, that you may have life.
I will renew with you the everlasting covenant, the benefits assured to David.
The word of the Lord. ◎ Thanks be to God.
◎ Lord, I love your commands.
○ I have said, O LORD, that my part is to keep your words. The law of your mouth is to me more precious than thousands of gold and silver pieces.
○ Let your kindness comfort me according to your promise to your servants. Let your compassion come to me that I may live, for your law is my delight.
○ For I love your command more than gold, however fine. For in all your precepts I go forward; every false way I hate.
○ Wonderful are your decrees; therefore I observe them. The revelation of your words sheds light, giving understanding to the simple.
A Reading from the Letter of Saint Paul to the Romans 8:35, 37-39
Brothers and sisters: What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword? No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor present things, nor future things, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
The word of the Lord. ◎ Thanks be to God.
[Please Stand]

○ Glory to you, O Lord.
+ A reading from the holy Gospel according to Matthew 14:13-21
When Jesus heard of the death of John the Baptist, he withdrew in a boat to a deserted place by himself. The crowds heard of this and followed him on foot from their towns. When he disembarked and saw the vast crowd, his heart was moved with pity for them, and he cured their sick. When it was evening, the disciples approached him and said, “This is a deserted place and it is already late; dismiss the crowds so that they can go to the villages and buy food for themselves.”
Jesus said to them, “There is no need for them to go away;
give them some food yourselves.” But they said to him, “Five loaves and two fish are all we have here.” Then he said, “Bring them here to me,” and he ordered the crowds to sit down on the grass. Taking the five loaves and the two fish, and looking up to heaven, he said the blessing, broke the loaves, and gave them to the disciples, who in turn gave them to the crowds. They all ate and were satisfied, and they picked up the fragments left over— twelve wicker baskets full. Those who ate were about five thousand men, not counting women and children.
+ The Gospel of the Lord. ◎ Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
<Profession of Faith>- Niceno-Constantinopolitan Creed
I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all things visible and invisible.
I believe in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Only Begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages.
God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father; through him all things were made.
For us men and for our salvation he came down from heaven and by the Holy Spirit was incarnate of the Virgin Mary, and became man.
For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate, he suffered death and was buried, and rose again on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures.
He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead and his kingdom will have no end.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the Father and the Son,
who with the Father and the Son is adored and glorified, who has spoken through the prophets.
I believe in one, holy, catholic and apostolic Church.
I confess one Baptism for the forgiveness of sins and I look forward to the resurrection of the dead and the life of the world to come.
Amen.
<The Universal Prayer> ◎ Lord, hear our prayers.
+ Confident in the abundant love of our God who provides for all our needs, let us present our petitions before the Lord.
1. For the Church, our Holy Father Pope Francis, and all bishops and priests; that they may be guided by the Holy Spirit to lead the faithful to trust in God's providence and reject the false promises of materialism. We pray to the Lord. ◎ Lord, hear our prayer.
2. For world leaders and those in authority; that they may be moved to compassion for the poor and vulnerable, working tirelessly to eradicate poverty, hunger, and injustice across the globe. We pray to the Lord.◎
3. For those who are hungry, oppressed, or heavily burdened; that they may find comfort, physical nourishment, and strength through the generosity of others and the grace of Christ. We pray to the Lord. ◎
4. For our local community and our families; that we may recognize and treasure the spiritual riches of God's Kingdom above all earthly possessions. We pray to the Lord.◎

◎ We lift them up to the Lord.
+ Let us give thanks to the Lord our God.
◎ It is right and just.
<Preface>
+ It is truly just and right, … as with one voice we acclaim:
+ You are indeed Holy, O Lord, the fount of all holiness. Make holy, therefore, these gifts, we pray, by sending down your Spirit upon them like the dewfall, so that they may become for us the Body and Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ.
At the time he was betrayed and entered willingly into his Passion, he took bread and, giving thanks, broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying:
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND EAT OF IT, FOR THIS IS MY BODY, WHICH WILL BE GIVEN UP FOR YOU.
In similar way, when supper was ended, he took the chalice and, once more giving thanks, he gave it to his disciples, saying:
TAKE THIS, ALL OF YOU, AND DRINK FROM IT, FOR THIS IS THE CHALICE OF MY BLOOD, THE BLOOD OF THE NEW AND ETERNAL COVENANT, WHICH WILL BE POURED OUT FOR YOU AND FOR MANY FOR THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS. DO THIS IN MEMORY OF ME.
+ The mystery of faith.
+ Therefore, as we celebrate the memorial of his Death and Resurrection… through your Son, Jesus Christ.
+ Through him, and with him, and in him, O God, almighty Father, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, all glory and honor is yours, forever and ever.
+ At the Savior's command and formed by divine teaching, we dare to say:
+ Deliver us, Lord, we pray, from every evil, graciously grant peace in our days, that, by the help of your mercy, we may be always free from sin and safe from all distress, as we await the blessed hope and the coming of our Saviour, Jesus Christ.
+ Lord Jesus Christ, who said to your Apostles: Peace I leave you, my peace I give you; look not on our sins, but on the faith of your Church, and graciously grant her peace and unity in accordance with your will. Who live and reign for ever and ever.
◎ Amen
+ The peace of the Lord be with you always.
◎ And with your spirit.
+ Let us offer each other the sign of peace.
◎ Peace be with you.
+ Behold the Lamb of God, behold him who takes away the sins of the world. Blessed are those called to the supper of the Lamb.
◎ Lord, I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof, but only say the word and my soul shall be healed.
Communion Antiphon
You have given us, O Lord, bread from heaven, endowed with all delights and sweetness in every taste.
