Event Overview

• Date: Friday, September 20th
• Objective:
• To enhance school spirit and unite the community of students, families, teachers, and admins with a traditional school-wide event that promotes health & overall wellness.
• The largest fundraiser of the year.
• Promotional Focus: “Your funds will help pay for”
• Art and Science Docent Programs
• International Fair
• Classroom experience resources
• Over 20 other programs and events funded by the PTC
• Social Media Language:
• More than 20 programs and events funded by the PTC will benefit from this fundraiser. These include the Art and Science Docent Programs, PTC events such as the International Fair, and enhancing the classroom experience.

Fund Run Fundraiser

• Date: Friday, October 25th
• Objective:
• To offer a free, family oriented evening for all members of the Sunset Ranch community.
• A partnership with Whitney High School and Rocklin High Community Service departments to offer high school students an opportunity to earn community service volunteer hours.
• Promotional Focus: Encourage family participation by informing that the event is free for students

Fall Carnival

• Date: Saturday, November 16
• Objective:
• The Parent Soiree is an adults only event to give parents a chance to engage outside of school.
• Parents are encouraged to mingle and support the school through a variety of fundraising opportunities that evening.
• Promotional Focus:
• More than 20 programs and events funded by the PTC will benefit from this fundraiser.
• This includes equipment updates to enhance the classroom and or school experience.
• Social Media Language:
• The 2024 Parent Soiree is an evening filled with food and drinks, raffle, live auction and dancing! Come support our school while interacting with other Sunset Ranch parents!

Article 1 - Name

Current Text:

The name of this organization shall be the Sunset Ranch Parent -Teacher Club (hereinafter referred to as “PTC” or “Organization”)

Proposed Amendment:

The name of this organization shall be the Sunset Ranch Parent -Teacher Club (hereinafter referred to as “PTC” or “Organization” or “Officers”)

Article 2 – Purpose

Current Text:

The specific purpose of this association is to effectively channel the efforts and resources of Sunset Ranch parents, staff, and students to the direct benefit of the students; to facilitate mutual communication and nurture a cohesive relationship among Sunset Ranch parents, staff, and students; and, to initiate, carry out, raise funds for, and provide sponsor programs and projects that benefit Sunset Ranch and its community.

Proposed Amendment:
