In-depth project description
This project comes from the idea that there is not a smooth way for mothers to connect locally online. Enabling them to connect with other mothers and Professionals near them for support and tips from a social view aspect. As well as the ability to see upcoming events and support groups for new mothers. This leads to the idea for a fast and simple multi-faceted application that allows mothers to connect with other mothers in their local area based on the child's age group. As well as usability for mother and baby tracking patterns such as sleeping, Pumping, feeding, eating, medication, saving
important dates, Milestones, etc..

Re-testing Results:
Our data shows great improvement as the following:
Conclusion
Summary:
From our initial research into the issues of mothers and identifying the three key pain points, physical need, social need, and health needs. That we observed we were able to
formulate possible solutions to implement into a working prototype to help alleviate these issues. Through the second round of user testing, we were able to see that a large percentage of users would be interested in our application and found it as easy to use as many of the other ones already on today's market. The final four were chosen with these base issues in mind. We offer a unique experience for mothers to locally connect with others in a safe, healthy way. At the same time, the other features, such as the health tab, enable mothers the motivation and guidance to be healthy in many various ways. In contrast, our service and log tabs help to plan and navigate a mother's schedule to maximize time for themselves while taking care of their children.
Expected Contribution of Project Outcomes:
Limitations:
Time constraints on the project, within the limited time, we had to do user testing and prototyping. We were unable to fully gain as many participants as was desired. This leads to not being able to get the high-fidelity prototype tested to the fullest extent.
Microsoft XD limits certain things within user testing. This made it hard to thoroughly test our high fidelity prototype within the constraints given.
Recommendations and Future Work:
Have a professional or professional user test review and critique the application for future work and recommendations. This will lead to further considerations in redesigns of the prototype, facilitating us in taking the project to the next step. Then gaining more user testing in a broader range of mothers to ensure a large target audience to market to. Further design to make a fully working functioning prototype to be able to release a mock-up for the market.
Thank you
