Activation
When a Sumo-ling buys a product license, they will then proceed to activate their new license on AppSumo. An "activate" notification will then be sent to your API. Based on the response, the product key will be generated and activated for users.
To do this, your API must return a 201 Created response code. A different response code will create the license with the inactive status.
