What is Triol Linear ESP EP02

The Triol EP02: Choice for Challenging Wells. Perfect for marginal wells and those facing issues like high gas factors, high viscosity, or high levels of mechanical impurities, where traditional ESPs falter and SRPs are not an option.

EP02 surface equipment

VFD is a multi-level voltage inverter with a built-in SWF and step-up transformer.

Modular design that provide quick replace of units.

Provides stable nominal output voltage with a wide range of input voltage fluctuation: 380V … 480V ±10%, 50/60 Hz.

Has on board a Choke and Sensor’s surface unit.

3 power ranges: 60 (81), 100 (136), 150 (204) kW (HP).

UMKA-07 HMI controller with 7” touch screen.

NEMA3R or NEMA4 enclosure.

Operation temperature:

20 °С ... + 50 °С (-4°F...+122°F) for NEMA3R;

EP02 submersible equipment: options

FILTER

The filter is used for wells with high solids content. The filter is a wedge wire screen with a slot size of 0.2 mm, filter OD 89 mm, filter length in range from 2 m to 7,5 m depend from pump performance. It is possible to change the size of the gap upon special order.

GAS SEPARATOR

The gas separator ensures operation of the installation in wells with high GLR without reducing pump performance. The gas separator consists of a gravity gas separator and an intake filter.

SHROUD

The shroud is used to create an additional motor cooling circuit when operating in wells of 7 inches or more and fluid temperatures of 70 ℃ (160 ℉ ) or more.

EP02 surface equipment: options

Triol Test Unit

Triol Test Unit TM01 is designed to test the downhole and the surface sensor units of Triol ТМ01.Test Unit allows you to diagnose and determine the malfunction of downhole and surface units, as well as to check their performance in the system:

Downhole sensors testing: measuring the insulation resistance of the immersion unit and monitor the insulation resistance in real time (voltage 100 V);

verification of data transfer from the downhole sensors to surface equipment.

Surface unit testing:Test Unit is supplied with a Sensor simulator for diagnosing of a surface units.

EP02 VSD controller has special features that optimize operation of equipment

Quick-start. Menu allows choosing equipment from a list, which minimize commissioning time and make start-up easy.

Algorithm for automatically achieving the target dynamic fluid level (pressure maintaining).

Flexible setting. Controller allows manual adjusting of all settings to ensure that an operator can optimize operation process.

Algorithm for protecting the moving part from mechanical damage.

Optimized algorithm to protect the motor from overheating without stopping.

Algorithm to avoid damage of motor winding insulation.

Display of dynamometer cards and calculation of pump cylinder filling.

Calculation of pump flow rate each cycle.

Wide range of motor, pump and VSD protections, including protections by downhole or analog/digital sensors.

Motor stroke performance

The Flow Rate Maximization algorithm maintain required pressure by increasing/decreasing number of strokes per minute (CPM).

At the same time, controller will adjust CPM to avoid motor overheating and insulation failure.

VSD can work in automatic mode with ability to restart automatically after tripping or in manual mode.
