Route changes to add?

Cascade — DSS route change saves 15 seconds, changes cascade 1 and 2

Wooded — potential idea to implement hundo bird cycle into am in future slow

Snow — finish timing stuff with late shards and all that

Metro — DSTA plaza planter seed and collect after bullet billding before talking to guitarist, saves ~1s added

Mushroom / maingame — have enough moons to only need the 1 toadette moon in mush 1, saves ~2 seconds added

TA (Break) Rules

TA breaks are allowed for longer SMO categories. Here are the rules:

• Breaks are only allowed during cutscenes; this includes moon animations.
• When taking a break, runners should bring up the menu to edit the system time while synchronization with the internet is turned off. This is to ensure that enough time has passed outside of breaks for a seed to be fully grown and the moon to be collected. This option is under "Date and Time" in the switch settings menu. Make sure to confirm the system time with an "A" press at the end of your break so it remains the same as it was at the start of the break.
• The pool of available time for breaks gains 15 minutes every 2 hours. Breaks can be taken at any point in the run, and there is no limit on the number of breaks so long as it follows the rules established above.
• For example:
• Any run under 8 hours has 45 minutes available for breaks.
• Any run between 8 and 10 hours (8:00:00 - 9:59:59) has 60 minutes available for breaks.
• etc.
• All runs with breaks must be submitted to speedrun.com as "TA" runs, with the break timestamps in the run description. If runs are not submitted correctly, verifiers may miss a break and add it to the total time.

DSTA Notes (not necessary only saves ~1s)

Can DSTA to collect plaza planter seed after bullet billding in Metro 1 instead of leaving it to Metro 2.

Aim for DSTA to hit 7-8 minutes after you exit Lost (ex. If you have a 40 minute lost exit, set your clock to 1:12 AM for a 2 AM daylight savings jump to 3 AM).

If you miss the window, just collect the seed in Metro 2 after Sphinx in the City. Collect 1 seed in mushroom 1 to replace for moon count. Your moon counts will be 1 less than the powerpoint from metro 1 to bowsers 1, then 1 more than the powerpoint from moon dump to darker side.

Misc. Info

• Language notes: English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese (4th, 3rd, and 2nd from the bottom, respectively) have Pauline answers in Metro 2. One of the Chinese languages is likely fastest, but nobody has done a complete timing.
