Download issues @ eclipse.org

On testing this, there was a problem with Eclipse Oxygen 4.7.0 RC1...

Just go <Back and then Next> again usually makes it go away! ;)

If it does not, you could try to use the stable releases Neon release train of Eclipse instead of the (about to be released..) latest, and faster, Oxygen.

Downloading JARs from nexus.opendaylight.org

The setup automatically configures Eclipse (M2E) with the usual Maven settings.xml to download the ODL JARs from nexus.opendaylight.org. MAY NEED 1 RESTART!

So, just like on the CLI, an ODL master project IDE set-up pulls A LOT of SNAPSHOT versions… and this takes LONGER than the entire Eclipse setup itself.

Unless you already have it in your ~/.m2/repository.
