A statement on researcher positionality typically refers to a declaration made by a researcher, acknowledging and reflecting on their own background, experiences, beliefs, and biases, and how these factors might influence their research.

This concept is particularly significant in qualitative research and fields, where the researcher's perspective can have a substantial impact on the research process and outcomes.
