How do I get Inducted into ITS?

note: inductees must pay a 1 time “lifetime dues” payment of $35

• Theatre Classes- (3 pt. cap/ course)
• Drama Club Meetings
• Attend a Theatre workshop/Seminar
• guest speaker in class, virtual conference, (Adv. Theatre- Disney workshop?), etc.

Education- Points at LCHS

• Lenea Festival - Advanced Theatre students (speak to McCloud if

you are NOT in Adv. Theatre but wish to compete)

• Mainstage performance- Cardinal Theatre play or musical
• Troupe “open mic night”- Perform or serve on tech
• Performance Showcase- Perform or serve on tech
• Mainstage Design- Tech/ Design for Fall Play or Musical
• Hypothetical Design- see McCloud for specifications

Application- Points at LCHS

• Drama Club Leadership
• ITS Leadership

• Acquire New Sponsor- find a new sponsor for theatre program

• Mentor student- mentor and educate tech apprentice

Outreach & Service- Points at LCHS

• Honor Thespian – 60 total points (600 hours)
• 6 stars- For outstanding contributions to the ideals of the Society and meritorious work in the field of theatre.

• National Honor Thespian – 120 total points (1,200 hours)
• 12 stars-For exceptions commitment to the ideals of the Society and distinguished work in the field of theatre.

​

• International Honor Thespian – 180+ total points (1,800+ hrs)
• 18+ stars-For extraordinary dedication to the ideals of

the Society and exemplary work in the field of theatre.

Additional Thespian honor ranks

• All inducted members will get:
• Thespian Member Certificates & Member card
• Thespian Induction Pin – awarded to inducted members (10 pts)
• You can earn:
• Honor Rank Certificates – for thespians with additional honor ranks
• Graduation Honor Cords, Stoles, and Tassels – see Troupe director
• Thespian Letters (Letterman jacket letters)– see Troupe director
• Thespian Point Star, Officer, Scholar, and Honor Bar Stickers – for additional honors (+ ec 10 pts)
• Thespian Honors Ribbon – for additional honors (+ ec 10 pts)
