State Conference (Schedule Coming)

Location: Delavan, WI (Lake Lawn Resort)

Dates: Thursday, March 2rd - Friday, March 3rd

Travel: Carpooling with members

Class conflicts: Excusal letters *Link*

Events: 1 per person, testing on site

Top Performers continue on to ICDC

International Conference (schedule here)

Location: Orlando, FL (Hilton Lake Buena Vista at Disney Springs)

Dates: April 15th - April 18th

Travel: Flights (TBD) - likely leaving 15th, returning 19th

Events: 1 per person, online testing ahead of time

State Overview

Travel information

  • Location: Lake Lawn Resort in Delavan, WI (~ 1 hour drive away)
  • Leaving Madison: Between 10:30am - 1:30pm on Thursday, March 2nd
  • Returning to Madison: Morning of Saturday, March 4th
  • Travel: Carpooling → more information soon

Competition information

  • Testing on site (bring a laptop, heavily recommended that it’s charged), 1 event per person
  • Awards Ceremony: Friday night - top 6-7 competitors make it to ICDC

Costs

  • $200 per person → should have already paid $50 deposit
  • Final $150 due on Wednesday, March 1st at 11:59PM

    • Word for word, title your slides
  • Well prepared slide show
    • Skeleton: easy to read and edit
  • Confidence, eye contact, enthusiasm
    • Fake it until you make it!
