How to log into Seesaw
If you have more than one child using Seesaw, you can log in as a family member instead of a student and it will allow you to switch between their accounts rather than having to log in and out of their different accounts every time.
Click on scan code and scan the QR code.
When you log in you will see the following screen. The journal is where all of your child’s completed activities are stored.
Any newly assigned activities will be highlighted on the righthand side of the page. Click on this to complete activities assigned to your child.
To complete assigned activities click on ‘add response’.
When you click add response the following screen will come up. Click on view instructions at the top of the page to view the instructions from the teacher.
Here the teacher will explain what work your child has to do in the activity.
You will be able to see how many activities there are to complete by looking at the pages on the righthand side of the screen.
If you see the link symbol in an activity, click on it and it will take you to the webpage assigned by the teacher.
Here the teacher has asked your child to record themselves saying ‘n’. To record your child, click on the microphone symbol on the lefthand side of the page.
Follow the instructions on the screen to record their voice.
Click on the done button when they are finished recording.
You can listen back to the recording by pressing the play button.
The next activity asks them to circle all the n’s. To circle the n’s, click on the pencil symbol on the bottom of the page.
Use the pencil to circle all of the n’s.
The next slide asks them to practice writing the letter n. Use the pencil tool to do this again.

The last activity asks them to put all of the words beginning with n into the box. Use the hand tool to drag the pictures.

When they are finished completing the activity, click on the green tick on the top righthand side of the page
If your child is in the middle of completing an activity and you need to leave it at any stage, click on the draft button on the top righthand side of the page instead.
When you go back into Seesaw, they can pick up where they left off by clicking the finish response button.
When they have submitted their work, it will be sent to the teacher for approval.
You will know that there are no more activities for your child to complete as the activities tab will no longer be highlighted.
